The tourists have no right to escape Jakarta – the capital of Indonesia. The city is a former Dutch colony, so it has a lot of interesting architecture and enough cultural relics to keep visitors busy for a week. No trip to Indonesia would be completed without visiting Bali. Apart from attracting landscapes and golden beaches the island is famous for its cultural heritage. Pay attention to Neka Museum, which contains a huge collection of traditional and modern Balinese paintings. Another historical sight of the island is Mother Temple of Besakih, situated high on the slopes of the Agung Volcano. Being in the island of Java, have a rest in Brommo Tengger-Semeru national park and see the ancient Tengger crater. The small village of Cemora Lawang is the most popular place, from which the best views of all the area are opened. The Mount Leuser National Park is a pride of Sumatra. It is an ideal spot for the relaxation and leisure activities. One of the friendliest and most easy-going towns in Sumatra is Bukittinggi. So, Indonesia offers a huge variety of attractions and sights.
